Energy Sector Update for 05/10/2016: USO, UNG, LNG

Power shares had been mostly greater in pre-market place trade on Tuesday as crude oil futures rebounded.

Light, sweet crude oil for June delivery was up .9% at $43.83 per barrel. In other energy futures, heating oil was up 1.4% at $.85 per gallon while organic gas was 1.8% larger at $1.61 British thermal units.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund (USO) was up .9% at $10.78 even though the United States Natural Gas ETF (UNG) was two.8% greater at $six.98.

And, in energy news, Cheniere Power (LNG) mentioned its Cheniere Corpus Christi Holdings unit intends to sell $1. billion principal amount of senior secured notes due 2024 to repay debt under current credit facilities.

Shares in the business have been unchanged at $32.15 pre-bell. The stock has traded amongst $22.80 and $77.47 over the past 52 weeks.
